A good thing about having an operating system on a portable device is you can use it on any computer even if it is empty. its a simple start up and the best part is that it is not permanent.So for example you have to use a friends computer and you know that their computer is extremely slow you can just use a portable device with an operation system. There are some drawbacks to having an operating system on an operating system it is slow and its kind of a long process to install on the portable device.
